There are so many wonderful resources out there these days I find it remarkable. Of course the greatest resource is live performances...I can never recommend that often enough. There's nothing like attending a live concert! My favorite was Itzhak Perlman in concert some years ago at the Marcus Center (formerly the PAC). It was beyond words! UPDATE! PERLMAN IS PERFORMING AT THE MARCUS CENTER JANUARY 13th! CHECK THE MSO SCHEDULE FOR DETAILS! I can recommend several books particularily for the young students and families. There are also a few recommended books that students of all ages will benefit from reading. I have also included a several websites/links that are beneficial as well.
